PFF predicts the Panthers will tumble down the NFC South standings When I reference Pro Football Focus I normally call them “the good people at PFF.” I generally appreciate their work and find it both informative and revealing. But what the good evil people at PFF just posted is borderline unforgivable. I’ll let their infographic tell the story because I can’t force myself to type the words.Pro Football FocusPFF is predicting a dogfight between the Falcons and the Saints to win the NFC South as the Panthers look on from the sidelines like a harmless three-legged puppy wearing a cone of shame. PFF forecasts 9.5 wins for the Falcons http://www.authenticscarolinapanthers.com/cheap-c.j.-anderson-jersey , 9.4 for the Saints, 7.9 for the Panthers, and it’s not even worth my time to mention the other team in the NFC South http://www.authenticscarolinapanthers.com/cheap-michael-palardy-jersey , whoever they are. In 2017 the Falcons and Panthers each finished 11-5 with Atlanta winning the division via tiebreaker. The Saints went 10-6. All three teams made the playoffs. The 2018 data is forecasting regression across the entire NFC South. I just don’t see the Panthers tumbling down to an 8-8 season. As I’ve previously written, Carolina was No. 12 in scoring last season and should have an even stronger offense this year. If the offense fires on all cylinders, the Panthers could be downright scary. I’ll forgive PFF this one time for making such an egregious error with their 15.3% prediction. Instead of overreacting I’ll just choose for now to react like Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber:“So you’re telling me there’s a chance. YEAAAAAHHHH!”Panthers 2018 season opener countdown: 77 days to go We are 77 days away from the beginning of the Carolina Panthers 2018 season. That means today we take a closer look at defensive end Zach Moore.Zach Moore Youth Luke Kuechly Jersey , Defensive endBioHeight: 6’6”Weight: 275 lbsAge: 27College: Concordia-St. PaulNFL Experience: 2 yearsMoore bounced around the league with several teams before arriving in Carolina last season. He spent the first 11 weeks of 2017 on the Panthers’ practice squad before being added to the active roster for the final five weeks. While he was on the 53-man roster, he was never activated on game day. Moore will have a tough task ahead of him to make the roster in 2018. The Panthers have a lot of bodies at the defensive end position on the 90-man roster, and Moore will be competing with several young guys for a bottom of the depth chart spot. I think the Panthers will try to find a way to keep him on the practice squad again this year as a ‘break glass in case of emergency’ option http://www.authenticscarolinapanthers.com/cheap-graham-gano-jersey , but I don’t see him being much more than that for the Panthers in 2018.
