Los Angeles, CA - Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber announced on Thursday that a new team has been awarded to an ownership group led by Henry Nguyen, Peter Guber and Tom Penn that will begin play in 2017 in a new soccer specific stadium in the greater Los Angeles area.
