The Winnipeg Goldeyes had won 10 straight games against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks before Wednesday nights matchup at Shaw Park. The winning streak is over. When you have 15 minute half innings, everything just gets out of rhythm. We have to do a better job throwing strikes early in the ballgame." Fargo scored a run in the second inning off Goldeyes starter Chandler Barnard and then ran Barnard out of the ballgame in the third by scoring five runs on five hits. The big blow was a two-run double by Erik Castro. Winnipeg scored a run in the second on a walk to Donnie Webb, a stolen base (Webbs league-leading 27th steal) and an RBI single by Reggie Abercrombie. With the score 6-1, the Goldeyes added a run in the third on a single by Jordan Guida, a wild pitch and an RBI single by Tyler Kuhn. However, the RedHawks got a two-run bomb from Retherford in the fourth and then added three more in the fifth and that was all she wrote.
