The National Hockey League handed down a 10- game suspension to New York Rangers forward Daniel Carcillo on Friday. Had the feisty 29-year-old winger caused any physical harm to Driscoll, he could have been subject to Rule 40.2, which allows for a 20-game suspension to "any player who deliberately strikes an official and causes injury or who deliberately applies physical force in any manner against an official with intent to injure, or who in any manner attempts to injure an official."
