The Adidas NMD R1 Damen series has joined the Boost festivities with a few, memorable releases, but this week is the NMD’s true coming out party. 13 pairs total will hit retailer shelves ranging from a new women’s exclusive adidas Originals NMD collection to a full-size run of numerous iterations of the adidas NMD R1. Premium suede builds are in the mix along with a more traditional mesh and neoprene offerings.
adidas Originals continues to create crazy silhouettes utilizing the patented combination of Primeknit and Boost, and their latest creation, the Adidas NMD R1 Herren, is something straight out of Beetlejuice’s closet. The white and black piping throughout the mid-top silhouette creates a jarring display of a Primeknit pattern while the heel features ‘The Three Stripes’ branding in a number of different languages. The NMD City Sock will release in Europe and Asia on March 17th and will then arrive in the U.S. this coming May.
When we first showed you this appealing new look for the hotter-than-hot Adidas NMD R1 Bestellen earlier this month, we reported that they’d be releasing in Europe on February 20th. It looks like that will also be the date of their Stateside drop, as adidas Originals retailers in the USA like Packer Shoes have them ready to drop on the 20th, as well. The stripeless version of the NMD lets the unique camo pattern on the yellow, black, and white Primeknit upper speak for itself, creating what should end up being one of the most sought-after versions of the shoe all year.
The Adidas NMD R1 Kaufen closed out adidas Originals’ awesome 2015 in a way that nobody expected. The lifestyle and running qualities of the slip-on model paired Boost technology with a unique upper for a look that fits right into adidas’ current release slate. Now the Adidas NMD R1 Reduziert is getting a collaboration from Nice Kicks in the near future. The Austin-based sneaker specialists redefine the upper with the iconic combination of red and black while their logo and wordmark grace the heel tab.
