Adidas is taking the classic Adidas Superstar on sales year-end promotion and stripping it down leaving it only with the bare essentials. Taking the "Decon” look that has recently been spotted on the Air Jordan 2, this iteration of the adidas Superstar 80s comes constructed out of a one-piece leather on the upper for a clean aesthetic. Adding to the clean look of the sneaker is laser etching on the shell toe and the three stripes branding on the side panels. The two color options include Running White and Core Black with both of them being finished off with off-white rubber soles and brown detailing on the tongue branding and heel tab. If you're struggling with your Reebok on sales workouts, you might want to think about ditching your dirty sneakers for a newer, better pair of kicks designed for the rough and tumble life in the box. While fans of all-things footwear may be familiar with the likes of the Asics on sales, V, GEL-Sight, and GEL-Saga, few know of — much less, have ever seen — the original GEL-Lyte. Released back in 1987, the kicks were a sleek GEL-cushioned precursor to the GEL-Lytes we know and love today. And to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original, ASICS has brought back the silhouette in one of its OG colourways. A fashion-forward silhouette, the Nike M2K Tekno on sales is the latest release to join in on popularity of 'chunkier' shoes, featuring design characteristics of Nike's classic Monarch 1, which have then been injected with tech elements of the Monarch IV. Bit of background on the Monarch's - they are actually one of Nike's most popular and best selling shoes of all time - so what better shoe to take reference from and reinterpret for a new generation to adopt than that? It's kind of ironic that a shoe once pigeonholed for dad's and P.E teachers is now the pinnacle of style, but that's the ever-evolving world of fashion I guess! https://www.beenkicks.com/
